DESCRIPTION:Rising Artist: Farshid Babazadeh \nFarshid Babazadeh was born in 1956. \nHis artistic nature drew him towards music\, and he began playing the guitar at 12. \nHe studied this instrument at the Music Institute and soon played professionally and taught private students. \nFarshid moved to the Los Angeles area in 1979. There\, he temporarily suspended his musical pursuits and earned a living in photography\, videography\, and a professional photofinishing lab. \nThe Artist’s soul in him re-awakened and guided him to the California Arts Institute where he studied and learned the fundamentals and the techniques of the old masters. His paintings were often portrayed as one of the best among fellow students in the school’s brochure. He also explored the sculpting of the human anatomy. Later Farshid studied stone-cutting at the University of Judaism and pursued an Associate in Arts in figure drawing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter painting a few commissioned pieces\, Farshid turned to more personal and original expressions where he sought to capture the essence of yesteryear. \nHe is inspired by the mysteries of the imagination\, as well as the beauty and majesty of nature. For him\, most aspiratory artists are Dutch painters like Rembrandt\, whose paintings always bring a dark to light luminosity\, or Alma Tedma\, who captures the realism of life. \nFarshid started working with many galleries in Laguna Beach and participated in many juried art shows at California Art Institute \nMy art business has been designated as a “Trusted Art Seller” with The Art Storefronts Organization\, which means you can shop with confidence\, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

After cutting her teeth in the local scene\, she ventured abroad\, performing in hostels across the UK and busking her way through Europe. She relocated to Seattle in 2017 and has called it home ever since. \n          In October 2021\, Sarah released her debut single\, “Caravan\,” featuring fellow musician Tyler McGinnis. Their instant musical chemistry led to the formation of their Americana band\, The Hipocrats. Since then\, The Hipocrats have released their debut 6-song EP Road to Joy and their full-length album Friend Ship Joyride\, which has surpassed 50\,000 streams on Spotify. Produced by Grammy Award-winning artist Chance McCoy\, the album has resonated with people through its blend of different genres and writing styles. The band has completed 12 major tours\, with the most notable being the Road to Joy Tour in 2022. There\, he temporarily suspended his musical pursuits and earned a living in photography\, videography\, and a professional photofinishing lab. \nThe Artist’s soul in him re-awakened and guided him to the California Arts Institute where he studied and learned the fundamentals and the techniques of the old masters. His paintings were often portrayed as one of the best among fellow students in the school’s brochure. He also explored the sculpting of the human anatomy. Later Farshid studied stone-cutting at the University of Judaism and pursued an Associate in Arts in figure drawing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter painting a few commissioned pieces\, Farshid turned to more personal and original expressions where he sought to capture the essence of yesteryear. \nHe is inspired by the mysteries of the imagination\, as well as the beauty and majesty of nature.
