AVA's & Our Vineyards
Eastern Washington shines as a remarkable and unparalleled growing region, boasting over 300 days of sunshine each year. With a Rain Shadow Effect that brings less than 6 inches of precipitation annually and a striking 50-degree diurnal temperature shift, this land thrives. Its volcanic foundation, shaped by ancient cataclysmic floods and nourished by the Columbia River, creates an inspiring landscape for cultivation.

Wahluke Slope AVA
Designated in 2006 and named after a Native American word for “watering place”, the Wahluke Slope is a premier grape-growing AVA sitting on a large alluvial fan in Washington State. The AVA lies entirely within the established Columbia Valley appellation and is spatially protected by the Columbia River, Saddle Mountains, and Hanford Reach National Monument. With the growing elevations varying between 1,000 to 1,400 feet above sea level, this is one of the warmest AVAs in the state producing complex, yet structured and balanced wines.
